The Hyundai Kona - the manufacturer"s second smallest SUV - is not only highly praised by Australian drivers but is economical in price as well.
Featuring bold styling, a spacious five-seater cabin and exceptional standard and optional equipment levels, the Kona is well worth considering if you’re in the market for a zippy and reliable SUV.
The Kona offers a choice of a 2.0 litre petrol engine, a turbocharged 1.6 litre petrol engine with a seven-speed dual clutch auto gearbox, or a full battery electric version, first introduced in 2019.
All versions of the Kona – Go, Active, Elite, N Line, Highlander and the N Line Premium – include safety features such as autonomous emergency braking, forward collision warning, driver alert, lane-keeping assist, six airbags and electronic stability control.
Entertainment features include a 7.0-inch touchscreen to control the six-speaker audio system, which incorporates an AM/FM radio, aux and USB inputs, and Bluetooth phone calls and audio streaming.
The Kona Elite, N-Line, Highlander and N-Line Premium all offer extra features specific to their versions, however all versions rate highly for safety, comfort and economy.
