Let one of our friendly team know - we might have the perfect car waiting backstage.
Mazda CX-9 reeks of luxury usually found only in more expensive marques. Even middle range CX-9s have standard equipment such a sunroof, keyless entry, push-button start, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, satellite navigation ... but these aren't real 'luxuries’ and certainly not rare.
But when you add: digital radio, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, dusk-sensing LED headlights, rain-sensing wipers, a hands-free power-operated tailgate, paddle-shifters, a 9.0-inch central display, 20-inch alloy wheels, head-up display, wireless smartphone charger, three-zone climate control and power-adjustable front seats with heating … well, that’s not too shabby for a mid-range grade. Top grade Azami has even more luxury tech and safety!
The CX-9’s Trailer Stability Assist increases the car’s stability using the same method as the car’s roll stability control. By working with the torque and controls it increases the vehicle’s stability while using a trailer.
Mazda has added the 360 View Monitor to CX-9 models, which gives an all-round view of the car, not just the standard rear-view monitor when you are parking or reversing.
If you still crave more luxury tech in the CX-9, the Azami has Nappa leather, wood trim, electric seats, hands-free tailgate, driver’s seat memory position, a better sound system, roll-up sunshades, and bigger wheels with lower profile tyres.
Owners say the CX-9 is quieter to drive than many other large SUVs, and the space inside is roomy. The second row of seats slides forward to allow more legroom for any adults in the third row.
Another advantage for rear passengers is the wide rear door opening that allows for easier access and egress.
