Stylish and commanding looks, the Audi A5 is made to become the center of attraction. It is not flashy in any way. It has a long and low body with a sporty essence. It is longer than its previous version. The wheelbase is at least 14mm long and less wide and shorter. All of this gives it a cool look that most youngsters identify with. The front facet adds intimidation and aggressiveness to the overall look.
It is an absolute and seamless pleasure to drive it in the dark with its dynamic indicators and LED elements that make the ride luxurious and safe.
The Audi A5 has a feel-good factor, especially for the driver. The seat is eight-way electrically adjustable that offers a clear, concise view of the road. Also, the seat has a tilt option. The telescopic steering wheel contributes to adjusting the seating position. The passenger seat in front can be electronically adjusted too.
Classy all-black interiors, especially with the addition of black wood on the dashboard and door pads. The digital cockpit with the central console adds to the luxurious feel.
The Audi Virtual Cockpit, an integrative dashboard for all relevant information, is a good add-on.
The height is slightly too low; passengers need to drop themselves down way too much to get into the seat.
One con about the seats is that even though these can be electronically adjusted, they are not smart and do not have to save the seating options.
The pricing is a big demotivator for many who wish to experience luxury, and there are comparably inexpensive options available in the market.
Overall, the Audi A5 is a true beauty on the road. Be it the interiors or the exteriors, luxuriousness is everywhere. It gives a sophisticated feel equipped with extremely effective features. The center console has neatly arranged buttons that help control the MMI with a scribble pad and rotary selector in the center. The gear shifters give you a powerful feel, while the air-conditioning vents have touch-sensitive switches. The A5 is a driver-oriented car. There are rear AC vents, and there is an option for 3-zone climate control.
Another noteworthy feature is the under-armrest and the storage where you can keep your phone and be plugged in for charging. It can also be used for keeping your wallet, sunglasses, and other small accessories. Similarly, the door pockets have been equipped with one-litre bottle holders. The boot space is fairly large, making A5 the best for family rides.
One of the biggest cons of the Audi A5 is that the expensive car model does not have an Apple CarPlay or Android Auto even when it has a smart infotainment display. The other disappointment at this price is that the infotainment is not touchscreen or touch-sensitive. Similarly, the air-con vents need to be physically handled rather than have a smart feel. Another disadvantage is the legroom. These are so long that only two-average-sized adults can sit comfortably. When adults are taller or if there are elders, it could be a problem. The rear seats are a bit upright, making sitting a bit uncomfortable.
