2018 Mahindra XUV500 facelift launched: Prices slashed by almost 50,000!

Mahindra has finally launched the much awaited 2018 XUV500 starting at a price of Rs.12.32 lakhs.  Astonishingly enough, the price of the base model has come down by almost Rs. 50,000 despite being a facelift. The existing range started at Rs.12.78 lakhs. It now gets the necessary upgrades which certainly will help it tackle competition from the rapidly growing SUV-segment in the country. The 2018 Mahindra XUV500 will come in 10 diesel variants including manual and automatic versions along with one petrol automatic variant. The focus of the XUV500 is now more on plushness than the earlier one’s aggression biased character. Apart from just cosmetic changes, the 2018 Mahindra XUV500 facelift also gets updates for the interiors as well as the engine.
