Team CARS24

Audi India has launched the latest RS7 Sportback at a sticker price of Rs 1.94 crore (ex-showroom). The new model offers higher performance and more fuel efficiency than the previous version, which is mostly due to the mild-hybrid system it carries. Deliveries of the new model will start from August and speaking on the introduction of the new model, Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, said: “I personally love the way the RS 7 sounds and I can’t wait for owners and enthusiasts to experience and hear its V8 growl.”

The Audi RS7 Sportback has been one of the most powerful models in the lineup of the Indian subsidiary of the Ingolstadt-based premium carmaker. It features a very dynamic look due to the broad shoulders and a distinct roofline, which helps it give a very athletic stance. Compared to the A7, the RS7 gets a host of styling enhancements, including RS-spec oval exhaust pipes, electric real spoiler, bigger wheels, and so on.

Inside, there is a highly driver-focused interior that offers a variety of novelty features such as a sporty flat-bottom steering wheel, a virtual cockpit system, loads of alcantara and a plethora of RS badges. There’s also an Audi drive mode selector on the steering wheel. The 2020 RS7 Sportback is a true five-seater and the buyer can opt from a variety of trim options.
