Thanks to the ongoing pandemic and its resultant lockdowns, carmakers have been busy catering to their customers, especially the pre-existing ones. Since most governments have banned people from venturing out for anything but for absolutely necessary reasons, many car owners face a challenge. For instance, those who have cars that need to be taken for routine maintenance or servicing can’t do so until the lockdown lifts. Therefore, auto brands have been taking the requisite measures to assist their customers in such times of need.
Audi has just announced that it will be extending the warranty and service period till June 30. The extension is applicable to all Audi customers and for all models in India. In this particular case, customers whose warranty and/or service plans were to expire in April, May, or June, have been granted a complimentary extension on the said plans. And as mentioned, the extension is valid on every model in the German marque’s lineup in India.
Commenting on the move was Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India. He stated,
“Safety is of paramount importance to Audi India. In line with the need of the hour of staying home and staying safe, we are rolling out extensions on Standard Warranty, Extended Warranty, and Service Plans for existing Audi customers until June 30, 2021.
