Best BS6 Cars Under 10 lakhs in India – Price, Mileage, Specifications, Colours, Images
Although the BSVI emission norms were supposed to come into effect from the 1st of April, the ongoing lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic has forced the Supreme Court to extend the deadline to 10 days after the lockdown is lifted. However, many of the car manufacturers in the country have already started producing and launching BSVI-compliant variants of their models. While these variants might be higher-priced at the moment, they are a better choice given that BSIV powered vehicles will soon not be allowed on Indian roads. So, what are the best BSVI cars you can buy for under Rs. 10 Lakhs? Let’s find out.
Hyundai Creta
Hyundai took
the BSVI change as an advantage and announced the latest version of one of
their most popular cars, the Creta. Not only that, Hyundai launched a total of
14 different variants to give potential buyers options to choose from. All the
new BSVI-compliant Creta variants will be powered by one of three engine
options. The first is a standard 1.5L petrol engine that is capable of
producing 112Ps of power and 144Nm of torque. Next is a 1.4L Turbo GDi engine
that produces 138Ps of power and 242Nm of torque which is a more powerful
option from the standard option. And lastly, there will be a 1.5L diesel motor
that generates 113Ps of power with 250Nm of torque.

KIA Seltos
One of the
first car manufacturers to announce a BSVI-compliant model was probably KIA
when they launched the latest Seltos in August of 2019. The newest model is
fitted with three different BSVI-compliant engines including a 1.4L petrol unit
that is capable of producing 140Ps of power with 242Nm of torque, a 1.5L petrol
engine that can generate 115Ps of power and 144Nm of maximum torque, and
