BMW Group India has just launched the all-new BMW 3-Series Gran Turismo ‘Shadow Edition.’ The tourer version of the 3-Series offers an amalgamation of sportiness and comfort. The new model is locally produced at the company’s Chennai-based facility and the new model is available as a petrol-only model at all BMW dealerships across the country.

It combines the best of both worlds – an embodiment of pure dynamism and a sense of spaciousness. Its emotional appeal and pronounced driving pleasure is designed to offer sheer driving pleasure.”
The BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo ‘Shadow Edition’ is available in M Sport trim and costs Rs 42,50,000 (ex-showroom). The new model has gone on sale in as many as 4 colour options, including Alpine White, Melbourne Red Metallic, Black Sapphire Metallic and Estoril Blue Metallic. The new model even offers upholstery choices to its buyers in the form of Sensatec Black/Red highlight, Black and Sensatec Veneto Beige and Veneto Beige options.
The BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo ‘Shadow Edition’ gets a high-gloss black kidney grille and some dark shadow elements that extend to the LED headlights and taillights. The new model rides on 18-inch Star-spoke alloy wheels that are also finished in jet black. Even the exhaust tailpipe is finished in black chrome and enhances the distinctive looks. The cabin gets aluminium door sill plates, key with M logo, M sports leather steering wheel, ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, and chrome edging of air vents. Furthermore, the new model gets the latest version of the iDrive along with a universal wireless charger as a complimentary accessory.
Powering the all-new BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo ‘Shadow Edition’ is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine from the company’s EfficientDynamics family of engines. The high-strung petrol motor offers a maximum power of 252 hp and a peak torque of 350 Nm at 1,450 – 4,800 rpm. If company claims are to be believed, the new car can accelerate from 0 -100 km/hr in just 6.1 seconds. The motor comes mated to an eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission
