There are two ways to pay the fees for a driving licence or learner’s licence in Goa. Applicants can either visit the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways website or the Transport Department of Goa website to complete the payment of their driving licence fees. Here are the steps that need to be followed:

Online Payment through Parivahan Sewa

Step 1: Visit https://parivahan.gov.in/parivahan/

Step 2: Hover above the “Online Services” tab.

Step 3: Click on “Driving Licence Related Services” from the drop down menu.

Step 4: Click on the “Select State Name” tab and choose Goa.

Step 5: Hover above the “Fee Payment” tab.

Step 6: Click on the “Fee Payment” option from the drop down menu.

Step 7: Read the “Instructions For Online Payment for the LL/DL Applicants” and click on “Proceed”.

Step 8: Enter the “Application No.” and “Date of Birth” before clicking on the “Click Here To Calculate Fee” tab.

Step 9: Once all the details are generated, click on the “Bank / Gateway / Treasury” drop down option.

Step 10: Enter the Verification No in the space provided.

Step 11: Click on the “Pay Now” or “Pay Later” tab to complete the payment.

Facts about Online Driving Licence (DL) Fees in Goa:

There are certain facts about acquiring a driving licence in Goa. In Goa, you have to pay attention to all of the facts listed below:

  • You must first hold a learner’s licence for a minimum of 30 days before you can apply for a permanent driving licence. The learner’s licence is valid for 180 days after it is issued and you must apply for a driving licence from the RTO where the learners licence is issued.
  • A driving licence is valid for 20 years in India and can be renewed once the expiry date is reached.
  • If the driving licence test is failed by the applicant, a retest can be taken 7 days after the initial test.
  • The driving licence fees can either be paid online through the Parivahan Sewa website or the Transport Department website of the state.
  • If an applicant chooses to make the payment offline, they must visit the RTO directly and make the payment directly at the RTO office.
