Ford India has launched the much-awaited Sport Edition of Ford Endeavour at an ex-showroom price of Rs 35.10 lakh. The new model comes with a host of updates over the Titanium+ 4×4 variant.

Speaking on the launch of the new model, Vinay Raina said:

“Ford Endeavour Sport in black makes a bold statement – whether it is your regular commute during the week or your off-road adventure during the weekend. We are thankful to our customers for their faith in Ford Endeavour & hope the special edition Sport will strengthen it further.”

Vinay Raina, executive director of marketing, sales & service at Ford India

The Ford Endeavour gets an all-black look that has further enhanced the already butch appearance of the SUV. The recently launched model features an all-new ebony black front grille that looks quite domineering than the chrome grille on the regular model. To complete the all-black look, the front fender as well as the front and rear bumper skid plates get an ebony black treatment. Furthermore, the new model gets smoked headlamps that have LED fixtures for both low and high-beam for up to 20% better lighting.

The side profile features ebony black treatment for the ORVMs, fender grille, and side steps. Also, there is a SPORT decal on the doors and tailgate. One of the most noticeable changes in the new Endeavour Sport is its ebony black premium alloy wheels and roof rails. The specifications, however, remain the same as that of the regular model. Updated earlier this year, the 2020 Endeavour features a new 2.0-litre EcoBlue engine that comes mated to the world’s first 10-Speed automatic transmission. The turbo-diesel motor offers 170 PS of maximum power and 420 Nm of peak torque. The special variant is only being offered with a 4X4 driveline. Fuel efficiency is rated at 12.4 Kmpl.

The Ford Endeavour Sport will even come with the company’s globally-used mobility and connectivity solution, FordPassTM. Using this, owners of the new SUV will be able to start or stop the vehicle, lock or unlock it and even know its location remotely through the smartphone app. Meanwhile, the SUV will continue to offer Terrain Management System (TMS) with four preset modes – Normal, Snow/Mud/Grass, Sand, and Rock. What further enhances the off-roading capabilities of the SUV is its water-wading capacity of 800 mm. The highlight of the safety package includes seven airbags, including a driver knee airbag. Other highlights of the features list include Semi-Auto Parallel Park Assist, push start button, hand-free power lift rear gate, rear and front parking sensors, rear parking camera, automatic headlamps, automatic wipers, DRLs, dual-zone automatic climate control, 8-way power-adjustable driver & front passenger seat, Hill launch assist and hill descent control. The Ford Endeavour Sport edition comes with a standard 3-year or 100,000 km factory warranty.
