All these customer-focused services also ensure that the vehicle owners don’t face many inconveniences by their inability to visit a dealership to buy a new vehicle or a service center to get the cars serviced. Earlier, Ford India launched its online car retail business in order to help prospective buyers choose their favourite Ford model right from the comfort of their homes. And now, today, the company has introduced a Doorstep Service facility to enable Ford owners to get their Ford vehicle serviced wherever they want – home or office – at no additional cost.
As we said, this service further enhances the company’s consumer-focused initiatives launched under Dial-A-Ford where all sales & service queries get addressed via the helpline. Currently, in its first phase, the Ford Doorstep Service program has been introduced in the following cities-
Ford owners that reside in the above-mentioned cities can easily avail the Doorstep Service by making a booking by contacting the nearest Ford dealership or through the Dial-A-Ford toll-free number. Performed by trained Ford experts, the Doorstep Service includes essential vehicle check-ups, part replacements such as filters, oil replacement, and dry-washing among other activities covered under scheduled service. Moreover, what’s even better is that the customers will enjoy the flexibility to make all the payments online, thereby avoiding any sort of physical contact with a foreign surface like a card-swipe machine or cash. In case there are some issues in the car that may not get addressed on-the-spot, the technical team that would have visited your home or office will take the vehicle to the nearest service center and drop it back at your home after carrying out the necessary repairs. What’s even better is that the Doorstep Service facility will be provided to customers at no additional cost.
