The Indian subsidiary of Ford, the US-based carmaker giant, offers some of the most fun-to-drive cars currently on sale in the local car market. Of course, the most iconic model in the company’s product portfolio to be sold in our marker has to be the Mustang, which is currently discontinued and seems all set to return this year in a facelifted avatar. Currently, the company is having as many as five models on sale in our market. However, it is pretty much struggling to have enough buyers for each of these models. Therefore, it is offering some decent discounts on its existing lineup. Below, we have a look at Ford January 2021 car offers and discounts.
Ford EcoSport – January 2021 Discounts
The first model in our list of Ford January 2021 Car Offers and Discounts is the Ford EcoSport, which is its company’s answer to the likes of Kia Sonet, Maruti Vitara Brezza and Hyundai Venue. The EcoSport doesn’t have segment-leading sales figures to boast of but it definitely enjoys the title of being the highest-selling product in its lineup. For January 2021, you can purchase the updated, 2021 version of this sub-4-metre SUV with a cash discount of Rs 10,000. However, it must be noted here thaat this offer is subjective to the availability of old stock at the dealership you visit.
The Figo-based Aspire is presently the only sedan in its company’s product lineup. The Ford Aspire goes on to rival some highly popular models like the Maruti Dzire and Honda Amaze. For this month, the Aspire is on sale with two engine options, petrol and diesel. Also, we must add here that it even looks pretty good, especially if you look at the facelift that was launched a couple of years ago. While bookings of the 2021MY stock are underway, the inventory of the units produced last year is fast drying up. The few leftover units can be yours for discounts of up to Rs 15,000.
Akin to the Aspire, even its donor hatchback, the Figo is not a very successful car and hence, has been available with some discounts for a while now. Select dealers are known to be selling the leftover MY2020 stock for a discount of up to Rs 10,000. The Figo rivals Maruti Swift and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and is on sale with a petrol and diesel engine option. It’s among the most fun-to-drive cars in the segment and offers great dynamics and stylish looks. Also, it’s quite easy to find several examples in the used car market.
The Ford Freestyle is a Figo-based cross-hatch that benefits from all the traits of the Figo but offers additional ruggedness owing to the higher stance and some new styling bits. It also offers some additional features like the SYNC3 touchscreen infotainment unit. Akin to the Figo as well as the Aspire, the Freestyle has not been a sales success. Currently, the leftover stock of MY2020 models is being sold with a discount of up to Rs 15,000.
The Ford Endeavour has been a traditional Toyota Fortuner rival and while it’s nowhere as popular, it does enjoy fairly high popularity, most of which is due to the rugged design, great dynamics, upmarket cabin and high off-roading capability. Last year, the Endeavour received a powertrain update and with this, the SUV has been available with a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine that comes mated to a segment-first 10-speed automatic transmission. This month, select dealers are offering the leftover stock of this SUV with a discount of as much as Rs 50,000.
