The Honda Amaze is easily the most affordable Honda sedan you can purchase right now, but it sure offers all the traits of the bigger City. Unlike its arch-rival, Maruti Dzire, the Amaze is available with a diesel engine variant, that too with an optional CVT automatic transmission. The City is currently being sold in both 4th and 5th generation models. However, thanks to the high demand for both versions, there is not much discount on either of the two versions. The Honda Jazz is a well-sorted Maruti Baleno and Hyundai Elite i20 rival that has been available only with a petrol engine ever since its BSVI upgrade. The latest Jazz comes with an updated version of the 1.2-litre petrol motor that will generate a maximum power of 90 PS and a peak torque of 110 Nm. Unlike the BSIV version, the 1.5-litre diesel engine is no longer on offer. Transmission options for the petrol motor include a 5-speed manual and a CVT. Like the Honda Jazz, even the Honda WR-V got its BSVI upgrade last year. Like the Jazz, the WR-V is no longer on sale with a diesel engine option as the WR-V is now available only with the BSVI-compliant 1.2-litre petrol engine that offers 90 PS and 110 Nm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a CVT unit. Right now, the WR-V is being sold with a corporate discount of Rs 5,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000. a loyalty bonus of Rs 5,000 and Honda to Honda exchange bonus of Rs 7,000.
Honda WR-V Facelift Expected New Car Prices in Popular Cities
The Jazz and the WR-V are not the only Honda cars that received their BSVI upgrade last year. Even the Civic, which has been one of the biggest names in the company’s portfolio, got its BSVI upgrade last year. With the upgrade, the Civic was made available only with a 1.8-litre petrol unit that offered a maximum power of 141 PS and a peak torque of 174 Nm. The motor came mated to a CVT. Now, however, sales of the Civic have been suspended owing to low demand.
The last car on our list of Honda June 2022 offers and discounts is the CR-V, which, like the Civic, got its BSVI update last year. Again, like many other cars on this list, with the upgraded emission norms, the CR-V was sold only with a petrol heart, which used to be a 2.0-litre engine capable of producing a maximum of 154 PS of power and 189 Nm of peak torque. The motor came mated with a CVT. Now, however, sales of the Civic have been suspended owing to low demand.
