Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL), the local subsidiary of the Japanese carmaker giant, has been selling a range of models in the country, among which, the City has been the most popular. While the company claims to be a premium carmaker, it’s definitely nowhere near the likes of Mercedes Benz and BMW. However, the cars sold by the company are quite good and most of them have been selling in sufficient numbers. Still, in a bid to benefit from better demand, the company is right now giving some great discounts across its model lineup. Here are the Honda October 2020 car offers and discounts.
Honda Amaze – October 2020 Car Discounts
The latest Honda Amaze is based on the second generation Honda Brio and has been a Maruti Dzire-rival ever since it has gone on sale in the market. For the month of October 2020, the company is offering some discounts in order to benefit from higher demand during the upcoming festive season. This month, it is being sold with a cash discount of Rs 20,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 and a 5-year free warranty.
Honda City – October 2020 New Car Scheme Discounts
Honda City has been one of the most well-known C2-segment sedans in the local car market. It is even the most popular model well-selling model in the company’s product portfolio. At the moment, the City rivals the likes of Maruti Ciaz, Hyundai Verna, Skoda Rapid, VW Vento, and Toyota Yaris. In fact, very recently, it even received a generation change that has made the City one of the plushest models in the country. However, the company has chosen to not discontinue the fourth-generation model, which means both the new and old models are being sold along with the older model. Also, for the month of October 2020, the fourth-gen Honda City, which is now on sale only in the SV and V variants, is being sold with loyalty and corporate bonus, while the 5th generation model are available with a Loyalty bonus, a Corporate bonus and an Exchange Bonus.
The Honda Jazz got its BSVI update a little over a month ago. The refreshed Maruti Baleno now comes with a BSVI-engine, some styling tweaks and a few additional features. In spite of being new in the market, the Jazz is now available with a cash discount of Rs 25,000 and an exchange bonus Rs 15,000. If anything, buyers of this practical B2-segment hatchback can benefit from a loyalty bonus. The updated Jazz features a BSVI version of the 1.2-litre petrol engine that propelled the earlier car. It offers a max power of 90 PS and a peak torque of 110 Nm. However, unlike the earlier, BSIV Jazz, the BSVI version does not get the diesel engine option, which means one can’t choose the version with the 1.5-litre iDTEC oil-burner.
The Honda WR-V is simply a crossover-inspired version of the hatchback that is on sale with BSVI-compliant power options. The refreshed crossover is on sale with both petrol and diesel options and offers some cosmetic revisions and new features. The BSVI petrol motor puts out 90 PS and 110 Nm, while the BSVI diesel motor 100 PS and 200 Nm. The petrol engine is on sale with both manual and CVT automatic options, while the diesel engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. For October 2020, the Honda WR-V is on sale with a cash discount of Rs 25,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000.
Honda WR-V Facelift Expected New Car Prices in Popular Cities
Much like the recently updated Honda Jazz, the Honda Civic also got its BSVI upgrade only a couple of months ago. Still, however, the Civic is being sold at huge discounts. Buyers of the petrol Civic can enjoy a cash discount of Rs 1 lakh, while buyers of the diesel model get a cash discount of Rs 2.5 lakh.
The last model on our list of Honda October 2020 offers and discounts is the CR-V, which, much like the Jazz, WR-V and Civic, recently got its BSVI engine upgrade. However, like the Jazz, the CR-V is not on offer with a diesel engine option anymore. What this means is that the premium SUV from Honda is only on sale with a 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces a maximum power of 154 PS and a peak torque of 189 Nm. The motor comes mated to a CVT and there’s no manual transmission on offer.
