Online Application

Jaipur is not only the largest city in Rajasthan, but it is also the capital of the state. This makes it one of the most popular cities in the state as well as the country. People in Jaipur are career-driven and are highly educated. The majority of the public have access to the internet or use a smartphone that can connect to the internet. This ensures that the online application process is, by far, the most popular. Applicants can visit the official website for the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways website – https://parivahan.gov.in/parivahan/ or the Transport Department of Rajasthan website – http://www.transport.rajasthan.gov.in/content/transportportal/en.html. The application forms and other information can be found on these websites. After downloading the forms, applicants are required to fill them in correctly before submission. Applicants are also required to scan and attach their documents for verification. Once the verification is complete, applicants must make the fee payment through any of the payment portals available. Finally, applicants must choose a date and time slot to appear for the learner’s licence test at the RTO nearest to them. On the selected date, the applicants must visit the RTO and give the test. Only if the test is cleared successfully will the RTO issue the licence.

Offline Application

Although people would choose the online process as a time saver, the offline process for applying is considered a lot safer. When applicants choose to apply offline in Jaipur, they must visit the RTO located nearest to their registered address. The applicant forms and other information can be found at the RTO itself. Once the forms are filled in correctly, applicants must attach copies of their documents for verification. After the verification is complete, applicants must make the application fee payment either by cash or debit/credit card at any of the counters at the RTO. Lastly, applicants must select a date and time to appear for the learner’s licence test. The test will take place at the RTO and on the selected date, applicants must visit the RTO once again. If the test is cleared successfully, the RTO will issue the learner’s licence on the same day.
