The Motor Vehicles Act of 1988 has made it compulsory for anyone in Jharkhand who wants to drive a vehicle to first hold a driving licence. However, in order to obtain a driving licence, you must have a learner’s licence first. Fortunately, there are 2 ways to apply for a learner’s licence in Jharkhand. There is an online and offline process which involves the applicant filling in the forms and attaching the required documents. The application fees must be paid before a learner’s licence test is given. Before submitting the forms, the applicant must make the payment for the application and select a date and time to appear for the learner’s licence test.  How to Apply for a Duplicate Learning License in Jharkhand?

In the event of a learner’s licence being misplaced, stolen, or damaged, the holder is required to apply for a duplicate learner’s licence by informing the RTO where the original was issued. Tips for Clearing Your Learner’s Licence Test

If you want to clear the learner’s licence test, you will have to keep in mind the following points:

  • Before entering the vehicle, ensure that no other vehicles are approaching from behind.
  • After getting in, fasten your seatbelt and adjust your seat.
  • Adjust the rear-view mirror and side-view mirrors.
  • Release the hand brake and hold the leg brake down.
  • Before starting the vehicle, ensure that it is in neutral gear.
