Learning License Renewal Ahmedabad – Online & Offline Procedure

Being the largest city in Gujarat, Ahmedabad is one of the most populated and most popular cities in the country. Along with a large number of residents, Ahmedabad has a large number of vehicles as well. Many people in the city choose to drive their own vehicles rather than take public transportation. For anyone wanting to drive a vehicle in Ahmedabad, the Motor Vehicles Act of 1988 makes it mandatory to have a valid driving licence. However, with amendments to the Act, people looking to drive in the city must now apply for a learner’s licence first. People cannot apply for a driving licence without first holding a learner’s licence. A learner’s licence in Ahmedabad is valid for up to six months. Holders can apply for a permanent driving licence within those six months, however, if they fail to do so, or do not get a slot, they can either renew their learner’s licence or apply for a new one. Here is what you need to know about renewing your learner’s licence in Ahmedabad.
