Learning License Renewal Kolkata – Online & Offline Procedure

The Motor Vehicles Act of 1988 ensured that only those people who had a valid driving licence were allowed to drive a vehicle in the country. After further amendments, the Act included that before you can acquire a driving licence, you will have to apply for and hold a valid learner’s licence. In Kolkata, the learner’s licence is valid for a maximum of six months. The holder of the learner’s licence is required to apply for a permanent driving licence within those six months. If the validity period of a learner’s licence expires, the holder can reapply for a new one or renew the old one.
