Maruti Suzuki Subscription Plan Now Available in Pune and Hyderabad

Back in July 2020, Maruti Suzuki, the country’s largest-selling carmaker, introduced its first-ever car subscription plan in the cities of Bangalore and Gurgaon as a pilot project. Buoyed by the positive response to its car leasing plan, the company has now extended its subscription services to Pune and Hyderabad. The company states that its subscription services, which have been dubbed simply ‘Maruti Suzuki Subscribe’, offers users easy and flexible car ownership. In the second phase, this program has been launched in a tie-up with Myles Automotive Technologies.

Basically, such subscription plans offer a reasonable solution to everyone who wishes to experience the benefits of car ownership without making the actual purchase. Using the company’s services, one can lease a new Swift, Dzire, Vitara Brezza, and Ertiga from the company’s Arena range to even get a new Baleno, Ciaz and XL6 from the Nexa range. The company is offering many options for the subscription period, viz 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, and 48 months.

For the subscription, a customer will have to pay a fixed all-exclusive subscription charge. For example, in case of the Swift Lxi, the most affordable model in the company’s subscription plan, the subscription charges start at Rs 17,600/- in Pune and Rs 18,350/- in Hyderabad (including taxes). There is no need for any sort of down payment. Also, as soon as the subscription tenure gets over, the customer can even opt for a buyback option and become a permanent owner of the vehicle.

A big highlight of the company’s subscription plan is that there are no hidden charges and all one needs to pay are the EMIs. Features such as zero-down payment, complete car maintenance, insurance, 24*7 roadside support, and no resale risk work together to make owning a car quite easy on the pocket. What’s even better is that all the car maintenance, insurance cover and roadside assistance needs are taken care of by Myles through Maruti Suzuki’s dealer channel.

Announcing the customer-centric program, Mr. Shashank Srivastava, Executive Director (Marketing and Sales), Maruti Suzuki India said, “In the changing business dynamics, many customers want to shift from public transport and shared mobility solutions to personal cars. They want mobility solutions that are easy on the pocket and do not involve long-term financial commitments. Maruti Suzuki Subscribe addresses these changing needs of customers. We are confident that our new offering will introduce many new customers to the brand. It will also be embraced by the millennial, who frequently look at upgrading to latest cars with flexible tenure options as low as 12 months.”
