The Maruti Vitara Brezza has been on sale since early 2016 and has been one of the most popular products in its carmaker’s lineup. While the Brezza dominated all other models in the sub-4-metre compact SUV until recently, the advent of the Hyundai Venue has surely left a dent on the popularity of this compact SUV. No surprise, then, that, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd is planning to soon launch the Maruti Vitara Brezza uplift, which will bring in considerable updates to freshen up the 3 year-plus old model.
The Maruti Brezza is currently on sale in a price range of Rs 7.68-10.65 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). While it’s one of the most well-priced models in the segment, it’s worth mentioning here that the facelift will be available with a petrol engine option, which will completely change the price list of this model.

The Maruti Vitara Brezza petrol price range is likely to be Rs 7.30-10.45 lakh (ex-showroom). The availability of the petrol engine option will not only open new avenues for the compact SUV but it will also help the model ride on the strong wave of growing popularity of petrol-powered cars in this price segment. Here are the details of the Maruti Vitara Brezza uplift –
The launch of the Maruti Vitara Brezza uplift is likely to happen after the introduction of the S-Presso. The Brezza petrol model is expected to launch around this year’s festive season, which means a late-October launch is very likely. The company will surely try to ride on the wave of increased car sales during the festive season to ensure the Brezza gets a head-start of sorts.
The upcoming Maruti Vitara Brezza uplift will carry a slew of styling updates that will not only freshen up the image of the vehicle but will also help it look as modern as the latest rivals like the Hyundai Venue and Mahindra XUV300. The front-end of the Brezza will get a bolder look, which will be courtesy of a new bumper, updated grille and a new set of headlamps. The rear will also get similar set of changes, while the side profile will likely get a new set of alloy wheels. The interior is also likely to get some updates, which will uplift the appeal of the cabin. The interior is expected to get a new upholstery and some change in the dashboard trim. Also, it could get some additional features, like an electric sunroof.
