Earlier this year, the pandemic situation resulted in a country-wide lockdown that spelt havoc on the auto market. Each and every car and bike manufacturer in India registered a sale of zero units in April and even after the dealerships were reopened, the auto manufacturers continued to suffer heavy losses. In July 2020, however, the market showed a huge improvement but in order to sustain the demand for new cars, all carmakers are offering some discounts on their lineup. Here are the Renault August 2020 car offers and discounts-
Renault Kwid – August 2020 Discounts
The Renault Kwid is not only the cheapest Renault car on sale in the country, but it’s also a worthy competitor to the top-selling Maruti Alto. While the Renault Kwid has been selling in decent numbers, it’s currently being offered with some great discounts, which make this low-priced vehicle even more affordable. For the 800cc Std and RXE variants, you get an exchange bonus of Rs 5,000, along with a loyalty discount of Rs 15,000 and a free 5-year warranty. On the other hand, the 1.0-litre variant is available with a cash discount of Rs 10,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 7,000. Buyers of the Renault Kwid can even benefit from an EMI offer that lets you defer the start of EMI payments to January 2021.
Earlier this year, Nissan India discontinued the Terrano, the mechanical sibling of the Renault Duster. This was done as the carmaker chose not to update the SUV to meet the BSVI requirements. However, the Renault Duster continues to soldier on, albeit with many updates. It was facelifted in 2019, for the second time in its Indian innings. Also, its diesel engine variant was taken offer the shelves. And now, the company has given the Duster a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine. The Duster is also on sale with some generous discounts. The RXe and RXz variants of the Duster are currently being sold with an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 20,000. The RXs variant, on the other hand, is being offered with a cash discount of Rs 25,0000, a corporate bonus of Rs 20,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000. Also, like the Kwid, you can buy the Duster now and start paying EMIs only in January 2021.
Like the Renault Kwid, the Renault Triber is a low-cost MPV that is underpinned by an updated version of the same platform that forms the base of the Kwid. The Triber has been playing an important role in ensuring its carmaker remains profitable in spite of a really small product portfolio. The low-cost MPV comes with several qualities, like a very practical cabin, attractive styling, and low running costs. It’s also available in both manual and automatic (AMT) models, which gives buyers a wider choice. The manual versions are being sold with an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 7,000. On the other hand, the AMT models are being sold with a loyalty bonus for existing Renault users and a corporate bonus of Rs 7,000. Also, buyers of this MPV can even choose to start paying EMI from January 2021.
