After a spell of really low sales, Renault India, the local subsidiary of the renowned French carmaker, has finally started showing many signs of improvement. Much of the positive growth is due to the introduction of the all-new Triber low-cost MPV and the updated Kwid. However, in spite of the better sales performance, the carmaker is currently offering some lucrative discounts, all in a bid to maintain the sales momentum ahead of the introduction of the BSVI emission norms. Here, in this post, we have listed down the Renault January 2020 car offers and discounts.
The entry-level model in the company’s lineup is currently being sold with some great discounts. The pre-facelift version of the Maruti Alto rival, which belongs to the unsold stock from last year, is currently on sale with a cash discount of Rs 45,000, a free 4-year warranty package, a loyalty bonus of Rs 10,000 and easy finance at 0 per cent finance rate. On the other hand, the facelift is on sale with all the aforementioned offers, albeit, with a lower cash discount of Rs 15,000.
Renault India is selling the Duster with some never-seen-before prices. The pre-facelift model, which is basically the leftover stock from last year, is going for discounts of up to Rs 1.5 lakh. The diesel variants of the facelift edition, however, is available with a cash discount of Rs 50,000, loyalty bonus of Rs 20,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 10,000. The petrol model, however, is not available with any sort of discounts.
The recently launched Renault Triber is the most affordable MPV in the country. Based on an improved version of the Kwid’s platform, the Triber offers a highly flexible cabin that comes with enough space to accomodate 7 occupants. It also looks pretty good and comes with enough features. As there’s a pretty decent demand for this MPV, there are no discounts on offer on the Triber.
The Renault Lodgy has always been suffering from a very slow sales performance and soon, the carmaker will discontinue its large MPV. While the carmaker kept the Lodgy alive even after perpetually low sales all these years, it will finally have to pull the plug on this vehicle as the diesel motor that powers this MPV can’t be updated to achieve BSVI compliance. Hence, the leftover stock of the Lodgy is being sold with some heavy discounts. There is a cash discount of Rs 2 lakh, a corporate discount of Rs 10,000, and some dealerships are even offering free accessories to clear the inventory of this slow-selling model.
The Captur is the most premium model in the carmaker’s portfolio. In spite of many positives, the MPV has so far failed to register even a mediocre sales performance. No surprise, then, that, it’s currently being sold with some fantastic discounts. Currently, the crossover is available with a huge cash discount of Rs 2 lakh. Moreover, buyers also benefit from a corporate discount of Rs 10,000 and a loyalty bonus of Rs 20,000. With as much as Rs 2.3 lakh shelved off the sticker price, the Captur emerges as a great value for money proposition.
