Tata Motors India is on a spree to bring trendy passenger vehicle with superior performance characteristics in India. Recently a camouflage picture of the new Tata 45X has been doing rounds on the internet. The premium hatchback which is expected to be launched in India by mid-2019 is currently been tested on the Indian roads. The upcoming Tata 45X will feature newly designed exteriors, headlamps with DRLs (Daytime running lamps) and ORVMs with integrated turn signals.
The interior will feature a newly designed instrument panel and a display panel which will include a fuel gauge, average fuel consumption readout, distance to empty calculator and voice alerts. The interiors will consist of a driver seat with height adjust feature, rear seats with ample leg space, headroom and a foldable backrest for extending the luggage space. The utility and convenience features of an air-cooled glove box, fully automatic climate control with rear air vents, power windows, smart key push button start, and an infotainment system with touchscreen display can be expected in the top variants.
In terms of engine specifications, The new Tata 45X is expected to be powered by a 1497cc four-cylinder diesel engine with a power output of 110PS at 3750RPM and a torque output of 260Nm at 1500-2750RPM. The braking will consist of disc brakes on the front and drum brakes at the rear with anti-lock braking system and electronic brake force distribution for perfect control over all road conditions.
The new hatchback from Tata Motors is expected to deliver a class leading mileage of approx. 18 kmpl on the petrol engine and 25kmpl on the diesel variant. Tata 45X will face competition on Indian soil from the likes of Maruti Suzuki’s Baleno and Hyundai’s i20. So, are you waiting for the launch of the new Tata 45x hatchback?
