Tata Motors, the homegrown SUV major, has announced that the Altroz B2-segment hatchback is the official partner for Dream11 Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020. The next session of IPL begins on 19 September and will be held at 3 venues located in UAE – Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. The tournament will last 50 days. Tata Motors has been associated with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for a while now. Earlier, Nexon and Harrier were the official partners of the IPL tournaments. Now, the company has decided to bring the Altroz, its latest offering, into the limelight by making it the official partner for the 2020 season.
As the Official Partner of IPL 2020, the Tata Altroz will be showcased in the stadium at all three venues in the UAE. Also, the IPL matches will also have a designated category of awards named after the car, which will be called Altroz Super Striker Awards. Basically, the player who will have the highest strike rate of the match will bag Altroz Super Striker Trophy and a cash prize of INR 100,000. Moreover, the batsman with the highest strike-rate of the tournament will get a brand new Tata Altroz.
Also, other than displaying the car at all the stadiums where the series will be held, Tata Motors will hold creative activities to attract prospective customers. The company will also share updates on such activities on its social media platforms. Meanwhile, the authorized dealerships of Tata Motors across the country will feature an IPL-inspired ambiance. Moreover, fans will get a chance to win the Altroz Super Strikers title by playing Altroz Super Striker mobile game.
This will be a free mobile game where the player can demonstrate his skills with the bat and can even play the game in a multi-player model with friends and family. Daily winners of the Altroz Super Striker game will get free vouchers worth INR 5,000 while the season winner will get the Altroz Super Striker trophy and vouchers worth INR 1,00,000. Tata Motors will launch the Altroz Super Striker mobile game on September 19.
The Tata Altroz was launched earlier this year and has been well-received by the B2-segment hatchback buyers. It has been on sale in both petrol and diesel engine variants and offers 5-star Global NCAP safety, which makes it the safest hatchback in the country. The Altroz also offers a well-appointed and a spacious cabin, good ride quality and a suave look.
