The second wave of the global pandemic had a huge negative impact on the Indian auto industry as all car and bike manufacturers recorded low monthly sales in April and May. Even in the following months, things weren’t good as sales remained quite low. However, in July, most carmakers showed impressive growth and, overall, the Indian car market. So, in order to maintain this strong sales momentum, many carmakers, including Tata Motors, are offering some lucrative discounts to new customers. Here are the Tata August 2021 car offers and discounts-
Tata Nexon – August 2021 Discounts
The Tata Nexon enjoys a great fan following, and even though it doesn’t sell as well as the Maruti Vitara Brezza or even the Hyundai Venue, the SUV has a very strong fan-following online. The sub-4-metre model has been seeing decent demand, and therefore, you don’t get a lot of discounts. However, buyers of all the petrol-powered models can get a corporate discount of Rs 3,000. In the case of diesel variants, one can get an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 and a special discount of Rs 5,000 for Covid warriors.
The Tata Tiago is the highest-selling model in the homegrown carmaker’s lineup. It’s also among the most popular cars in its segment. However, in spite of the popularity, the small car is currently being sold with benefits worth Rs 38,000. There is a cash discount of Rs 15,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000, and a corporate offer of Rs 3,000. While these discounts are the same as what was being offered last month, they still shave off a decent amount from the sticker price of the budget model.
While the Tata Tigor doesn’t sell even remotely as well as the Tiago, its hatchback sibling, there’s no denying its higher aesthetic appeal due to the well-crafted notchback body. The Tigor is available for Rs 43,000 in July, which is being offered through a cash discount of Rs 20,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000, and a corporate discount of Rs 3,000.
Much like its smaller sibling, the Tata Nexon, the Harrier has a huge fan-following online, and there are many who swear by the bold appeal of this SUV. Also, like the Nexon, the Harrier got a facelift earlier this year. However, again, like the Nexon, the Harrier is far from being a segment-leader. With the introduction of the refreshed model, the Harrier not only gets some minor styling tweaks, some more features, a punchier engine, and an optional automatic transmission that has been sourced from Hyundai. Underpinning the Tata Harrier is a Land Rover L550-derived architecture. At the moment, select variants are being sold with discounts of up to Rs 65,000. These comprise a cash discount of Rs 40,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000. The Came and Dark Editions, though, are only available with a cash discount of Rs 40,000.
