All thanks to the strong second wave of the pandemic, various carmakers suspended production at their manufacturing plants during this time last year. Furthermore, the lockdown in various parts of the country led to the closure of dealerships in many cities. This year, though, things are a lot better and hence, to cash in on the demand, there’s a discount on most models. This month, Tata Motors is being sold with some good offers. Here are the details of the Tata May 2022 car offers and discounts.
The Tata Nexon is easily among the most well-sorted models in its price band. It’s a direct rival of the Maruti Vitara Brezza and the Hyundai Verna and received its BSVI update a few months ago. Currently, the Tata Nexon diesel is available with an exchange offer of Rs 15,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 3,000. There’s also a corporate discount of Rs 3,000 on the petrol model but there’s no discount on the EV. That said, even though there is not a significant discount available at the moment, the competitive pricing of this compact SUV ensures that the Nexon comes across as a great value for money proposition.
Akin to most other cars in the A2 segment, the Tata Tiago received the BSVI update in early 2020, and with this, it’s no longer available with a diesel heart. Right now, the hatchback is being sold with an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000 on the XE, XM and XT variants. The XZ and XZ Plus variants also get a cash discount of Rs 10,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000 but sadly, there’s no other discount. The Tiago comes across as a pretty great buy, especially if you take into account the fact that this car looks good, has a decent ride quality, and even comes with a fuel-efficient yet sufficiently powerful engine.
Much like the Tiago, its donor model, even the Tigor is a well-sorted offering that, with the BSVI update, is now available only with a petrol engine. Right now, the hatchback-derived compact sedan is being sold with an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000 on the XE and XM variants. The XZ and XZ Plus variants also get a cash discount of Rs 10,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000 but sadly, there’s no other discount. Even the EV version is on sale without any discount. The Tigor offers all the qualities of the Tiago but comes with a bigger boot. Also, with Rs 20,000 off its sticker price, the compact sedan is merely a few thousand rupees costlier than the hatchback sibling.
The Tata Harrier received a rather comprehensive update last year, which saw the most modern Tata SUV getting a BSVI-compliant Diesel engine that is not only cleaner but even more powerful than the BSIV version. Also, the car gets some additional features, such as a sunroof and even an automatic transmission option. It even gets minor cosmetic updates in the form of new colour options and dual-tone alloy wheels. The Tata Harrier is being offered with benefits of up to INR 45,000 on all trims in the form of a cash discount of Rs 40,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 5,000.
