In what is a huge step for the brand, the launch of Tata Punch was the icing on the top of a very well adorned cake (adorned with multiple successful ventures, of course).
The micro-SUV Tata Punch was launched on 18th October 2021. The prices for Tata Punch starts at Rs. 5.48 Lakh and goes upto Rs. 9.08 Lakh with a total of 7 variants in offer. The base model of Punch is named Pure, while the topmost variant Creative AMT, is priced at Rs. 9.08 Lakh. The car is also achieved 5 star safety ratings in the Global NCAP safety test.
As for the specifications, the micro-SUV from Tata Motors is powered by a 1.2 litre petrol engine that will provide the power of about 85 bhp with a 113 Nm torque. Tata Punch will be available in manual as well as automatic transmission, providing options for Indian customers. The Tata Punch will be focusing on increasing the driving experience by having multiple features, one such being the traction pro mode, which will be available in the AMT variants.
The feature-loaded car micro SUV will be very tough for the competitors to beat in this segment. The features which stand out are contrast-colored ORVMs, 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, a seven-inch infotainment system that is loaded with Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The micro-SUV will feature a split headlamp design, fog lights, and also stunning LED taillights, and the dual-tone alloy wheels, which complete the entire look of the car.
The brand has worked to provide premium comfort to the rider with the 90-degree opening doors and the various drive modes. There are some add-on features such as automatic climate control, engine start-stop button, cruise control with the height-adjustable seats, and the cooled glove-box. These features really give the Punch an edge over its competitors.
The brand will be providing four variants to their upcoming car, Pure, Adventure, Accomplished and Creative. There are different features in the different variants, which gives the customer ease of selection as per the feature requirements. The brand has also given seven color options to choose from, Meteor Bronze, Tornado Blue, Tropical Mist, Atomic Orange, Orcus White, Daytona Grey, and Calypso Red. There will also be an option of choosing from a white or black roof. The customers are expected to be eagerly waiting to grab the feature-loaded car from Tata Motors.
