The Toyota Innova Crysta has been achieved stellar success not only in India but even in almost every other country it is sold in. The premium MPV, like its sibling the Toyota Fortuner, has a lot of attributes that have impressed the car buyers enough to have a blind trust in the vehicle. However, unlike the Fortuner, the Innova Crysta is yet to get a facelift. That said, the company has recently revealed the TRD Sportivo variant in Indonesia to make the most of the current model before launching the mid-life facelift.
The new Toyota Innova TRD Sportivo edition has just been launched in Indonesia. This model was introduced on August 17, which also marked the 7th Independence Day of the country. Other than the Innova TRD, the Japanese carmaker even launched the Sienta Welcab in the Indonesian market. The TRD Sportivo model features a host of minor styling updates for the exterior and some new features for the interior. For example, its cabin comes equipped with an Integrated Air Purifier to keep the cabin air healthy. The new model even comes with intelligence air quality control, which shows the condition of the air quality in the cabin.
Speaking of the styling updates, the new Toyota Innova TRD Limited Edition model comes with a sportier front bumper, new grille ornamentation, a new rear bumper, 17-inch black-painted alloy wheels, and sporty side skirts. The interior of the new special model Innova comes with a new premium wooden instrument panel, an advanced 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and an illuminated LED.

Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque-converter automatic unit.
As we said, the company is also working on a mid-life facelift of the second-generation Toyota Innova in order to ensure that the MPV continues to have a smooth run in the market in spite of being four years old. Also, so far, the company hasn’t revealed any plans for launching the Toyota Innova TRD Sportivo limited edition model in India but there are still some chances of this model making its way on the Indian roads.
