Earlier this month, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, the local subsidiary of the Japanese auto giant, launched the second cross-badged product in tie-up with Suzuki. Dubbed Urban Cross, the new model is essentially a rebadged Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. that gets slight visual updates. The new model is priced from Rs. 8.40 lakh to Rs. 11.30 lakh (ex-showroom) and is available in three trims – Mid, High, and Premium – which are equivalent to VXI, ZXI, and ZXI+ variants of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. The new model goes on to rival the likes of Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport, Mahindra XUV300, Honda WR-V, and the newly launched Kia Sonet. Of course, it’s also a rival of its own donor model from Maruti. In a new development, we have got to know that the first batch of the new model has finally started reaching the dealerships across the country.
