We normally associate Aston Martin to the James Bond series and it fits in perfectly thanks to its uber-luxurious and premium car models in its lineup. However, Aston Martin cars are also available in India and have been since 2011. This British car manufacturer has taken premium and luxury to a whole new level with their cars and have given Indian buyers a look into what they are all about. Aston Martin sells cars that are not only exquisite to look at but are also built to last and perform like no other car on the road. With powerful engines, high-quality interiors, and the latest technology included into every Aston Martin, there is no surprise that they are one of the biggest names in the premium automobile market. This also means that they come with some of the heaviest price tags but anyone who is still interested can get their hands on old cars from the company for a fraction of their original price. While there are a couple of Aston Martin cars available in India right now, the company is set to launch a couple more in the coming months.

Aston Martin DBS Superleggera | Rs. 5.00 Crore |
Expected Launch | 15 December, 2020 |
Engine | AMG 4.0L Twin-Turbo V8 Petrol, 5.2L Twin-Turbo V12 Petrol |
We normally associate Aston Martin with top-tier sedans and sports cars, but they have finally entered the SUV segment with the Aston Martin DBX. It was initially announced back in November, 2018 and is set to be launched in India in 2020. The SUV will directly compete with the likes of the Lamborghini Urus outside the country and will be priced at about 3.50 Crore. The DBX will be imported from the new and only factory specifically designed for the SUV in Wales. Belonging to the lineup of the ‘Second Century Plan’ of Aston Martin’s subsidiary brand Legondo, the DBX should come with a plethora of new features and electronics from Mercedes. Under the hood, the DBX will most probably house the BSVI-compliant version of the AMG 4.0L twin-turbo V8 petrol engine, also from Mercedes-Benz with the current BSVI-compliant 5.2L twin-turbo V12 engine likely to feature on later models. There are some rumours about a third engine variant that could see the DBX running on a hybrid motor in the future.
Expected Launch | 19 December, 2020 |
Engine | 5.2L Twin-Turbocharged V12 Petrol |
Transmission | Automatic |
The Aston Martin DBS Superleggera is an outstanding piece of machinery that was created to perform like no other car in the world. With a drop-top convertible design, this car goes from uber-chic to downright stunning with a flick of a switch. As is with all Aston Martin models, the DBS Superleggera has a sleek, stylish, and elegant body that is both lightweight and extremely sturdy. Under the exteriors, the Superleggera houses some of the most powerful and advanced mechanics including a BSVI-compliant 5.2L twin-turbo V12 petrol engine that pushes out up to 900Nm of torque. The car is a 5204cc beast and the automatic transmission takes the car from 0-100 kmph in just 3.6 seconds with a top speed of 340kmph. Just like most supercars, the DBS Superleggera has a low mileage of 7.1 kmpl, but with power like this under you, it is totally worth it.
There you have it, the latest and greatest Aston Martin cars that have called India their “home away from home” for the past 8 years. While any Aston Martin car could easily burn a hole in your pocket, there are ways to get good deals on them such as a pre-owned car evaluation tool and even RC transfers. So, do these above mentioned cars offer enough to warrant a purchase or are their erratic price tags too heavy to consider?
