Land Rover has introduced a newcomer into the Indian market and it goes by the name Range Rover Velar. This stylish SUV has finally made it into the country and interested buyers have flocked to it quite predictably. Land Rover has only introduced a single variant of the Velar into India – the R-Dynamic S. Powering the Range Rover Velar is a 2.0L petrol engine that generates 250Ps of power along with 365Nm of torque. Mated to the engine is an 8-speed automatic transmission that comes with 4-Wheel-Drive capabilities. Land Rover also offers the Range Rover Velar with a 2.0L diesel engine that is capable of generating 180Ps of power and 430Nm of torque. Similar to the petrol engine, the diesel variant is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox that features 4-Wheel-Drive functionality. As usual, the Range Rover Velar is packed with premium features that include a high-quality Meridian Surround Sound system, luxurious leather interiors, 4-zone climate control, LED headlamps and DRLs, cabin air ionization, park assist, and ABS with EBD.

The Land Rover Range Rover Evoque was first unveiled in 2018 and since then has become of the most popular SUVs in the market. This is the second-gen Evoque from the British manufacturer and is based on the new Premium Traverse Architecture from Jaguar Land Rover that allows cars to offer electrification as well. In terms of looks and design, the 2019 Evoque resembles the larger Velar but is now a lot sharper and sleeker than the previous model. Some of the other upgrades are the new grille, new headlamps, taillights, and bumpers. Land Rover confirmed that there will be 10 different variants of the Discovery with 5 petrol and 5 diesel engines up for grabs. Powering the Discovery will be a 6-cylinder, 3.0L Si6 petrol engine that produces 340Ps of power and 450Nm of torque. There is also a 6-cylinder, 3.0L TDV6 diesel engine that produces 258Ps of power and 600Nm of torque. Along with these options, Land Rover has also included a 2.0L Ingenium engine that is capable of generating 240Ps of power and 500Nm of torque. Mated to all the engine options, Land Rover has included an 8-speed automatic transmission on the Discovery with a 4-Wheel-Drive system included as well. The standard Discovery is a 5-seater but Land Rover also has an option for a 7-seater in India. The Discovery comes with some of the latest and most high-tech features that include an electric sunroof, LED headlamps, rain sensing wipers, 21-inch alloy wheels, 8.0-inch rear-seat screen, a 14-spearker Meridian Surround Sound system, automatic climate control, and heated seats.

The base model, the S, the SE, the HSE, the First Edition, and the X are the models that will be released and will feature different specifications.
