The Maserati Quattroporte has two variants including the GranSport and the GranLusso which offers different styling options but retains the same engine options. Under the hood, the Quattroporte houses a 3.0L V-Type diesel engine that is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and has a top speed of 310kmph. There is also a 3.8L V-Type petrol variant that is also fitted with the same 8-speed automatic gearbox. With a mileage of 11.76kmpl and a fuel tank capacity of 80 litres, the Quattroporte does pretty well on Indian roads. In terms of acceleration, the car can go from 0-100kmph in 4.7 seconds and has a 3799cc displacement. For safety, the Quattroporte is fitted with airbags, an anti-lock braking system, side, and front impact beams, crash sensor, and forward-collision warning plus.

When Maserati announced that they would be launching their Levante SUV in India, many people were excited to prepare their RC transfer papers immediately.
