Honda holds one of the key position in the Indian car market. The first car on our list of upcoming small cars in India is the facelift version of the Honda Brio. Initially launched at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show in Jakarta, the Honda Brio is based on the Honda Small RS Concept. The exterior stance of the all-new Honda Brio looks a bit sporty and dynamic. This new hatchback from the house of Honda Motors borrows design cues from the all-new version of Honda Amaze.

This second-generation of Honda Brio is powered by the 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine which produces a maximum power of 90PS and the maximum torque of 110Nm. Transmission options available on this hatchback include a 5-speed manual and a 7-step CVT. Honda will also bring a sportier version of the new Brio which will be powered by the same engine but will hold a different suspension system. The Sportier version of this car will be called the Honda Brio RS. This car is expected to be launched by the end of 2019 and will be priced between Rs. 5 Lakhs and Rs. 7 Lakhs.

Hyundai has come a long way in terms of sales in India. The latest entrant in the Hyundai’s portfolio will be the new version of the iconic Hyundai Santro.

This new compact hatchback will join the Hyundai brigade and will be placed between the Hyundai Eon and the Grand i10. According to Hyundai, the new Santro will have added dimensions on its height and breadth when compared to the previous version of Hyundai Santro. On the front, the Hyundai Santro will have the tall boy stance and the iconic Hyundai cascade grille. This new hatchback will be powered by a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder engine. The Hyundai Santro may also include an Automated Manual Transmission option. Once launched, the new Santro will face the market with the Tata Tiago, Maruti Celerio and Renault Kwid. The Hyundai Santro is expected to be priced between Rs 3.5 lakh and Rs 6 lakh.

The exterior stance of the vehicle will spot a redesigned front bumper and daytime running LED lamps. Inside the cabin, the facelift Datsun Go+ will be glamorized with a dual tone interior. A dark tone environment will also be available for the sports version of this vehicle. The Datsun Go+ facelift will be powered by a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine which generates a maximum power of 68ps and a maximum torque of 104Nm. A 5-speed manual transmission will be available on this vehicle. The Datsun GO+ facelift is expected to be priced between Rs 3.91 lakh and 5.19 lakh.
