Hyundai Elantra summary

Hyundai is a multinational automotive manufacturer with its headquarters situated in Seoul, South Korea. The motor company has been in the market for more than 50 years now. It was founded in 1967. It has also successfully acquired 33.88 percent of Kia Corporation and wholly owns two marques, including its luxury cars subsidiary, Genesis Motor, and electric vehicle sub-brand, Ioniq.

Hyundai first introduced Hyundai Elantra in 2001 as a compact car, and since then has been on upgrade consistently. The current version of this model is the 2021 Hyundai Elantra. The idea behind this automobile was to create a more affordable vehicle for people who want to drive but want to do it inexpensively. Nowadays, the brand and the Elantra models are so popular that people can buy an Elantra at any auto dealer’s place in their area.

The Elantra offers both manual and automatic transmission like mentioned above. It’s a petrol-fuelled vehicle and has a 1999 cc engine. This engine comes mated to either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.

The Elantra N Line is Hyundai’s first N Line sedan, after the i30 and Veloster. The vehicle is powered by a 1.6-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged petrol motor, which can also be paired with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT. This tiny motor can manage to put 198bhp and 264Nm.

The Elantra comes standard with a rear-view camera, which makes backing up easier. It provides an image of what is behind your car onto its screen; this feature helps prevent accidents when trying to park or manoeuvre out of tight spaces. In terms of safety features, eight airbags are standard for all occupants, along with anti-lock brakes (ABS) and electronic stability control (ESC).

Hyundai hasn’t yet disclosed the performance figures of the car so far. However, we expect it to hit about 100kmph in under 8 seconds.

The addition of the N Line series means that Hyundai is offering a much stiffer, multi-link suspension, improving its handling. This version of the vehicle will also come with 18-inch wheels and much larger front discs compared to its older variants. The car is also flooded with many driver assistance features such as lane assist, high beam assist, and blind-spot collision avoidance, giving the driver an extremely smooth driving experience.

The Elantra seems to be giving a better mileage than any other car in its price range in terms of fuel efficiency. It’s also got more safety features as compared to the cars competing against it. If Hyundai permits, it will also be coming in a hybrid electronic version, beating the competitors even in terms of features available in its price range.

The key strengths of the Hyundai Elantra 2021 include: the vehicle is available in five different trim levels and nine exterior colors and has an all-wheel drive. It has more cabin space and a higher horsepower engine than most of the other cars in the competition.

The car also has better gas mileage and better ground clearance than most of the other cars in the competition. It also offers a more rigid body than most of the other cars in competition.

Hyundai Elantra EXPERT REVIEWS

In terms of performance, the Hyundai Elantra is not comparable to the Honda Civic. The Honda Civic has more power and torque than the Hyundai Elantra, and if that is what you are looking for and what will suit your needs, perhaps you could opt for the Civic.

That said, similar car models from the same segment as the Hyundai Elantra 2021, the Elantra will be the most fuel-efficient sedan in this segment because it has the most fuel-efficient engine. It will also have the most efficient transmission. However, it will no longer have a V6 engine or a 12-speed transmission. If you are concerned about the rising carbon footprint globally and would like to do your bit, then this car is your go-to car. This car is ideal for those who are part of the younger generation because it keeps their needs in mind.

All in all, it is advisable to go on a test drive before making a final decision. This allows you to get a feel for the car and whether it is the right fit for you or not. The test drive should also allow you to check out the vehicle thoroughly.
