Hyundai Palisade LATEST UPDATES

The Hyundai Palisade is the latest flagship SUV of Hyundai Motors India Limited. It was first showcased in the Los Angeles Auto Show in 2018. The car replaced Santa Fe as Hyundai's flagship model. By the summer of 2019, it reached several international markets, including the US. The SUV is about to launch in the Indian market on the 1st of August, 2022.

The Hyundai Palisade does not have other variants, unlike the Hyundai Kona Electric, another recent launch from Hyundai. The top specifications of the Hyundai Palisade include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with BlueLink connected car technology, a wireless phone charger, multiple USB charging ports fitted in all the rows, a twelve speaker Harman Kardon sound system, and so on. The car also has a head-up display and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster for the chauffeur’s convenience. Other than that, it has the inherent elegant look of an SUV and would contribute to your aesthetic pleasures.

The Hyundai Palisade is priced at forty lakh rupees in India and is worthy of the price. However, other comparable models and rivals include the New Skoda Superb, the Audi Q2, the Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace, and the Mercedes Benz CLS, the Mercedes Benz C-class, and so forth. The first three are within the price range of thirty to forty lakhs, while the Mercedes models have a steeper cost of fifty lakhs to one crore rupees in India.

The eight-seat arrangement is the best feature to look for in a family car like the Hyundai Palisade. It offers comfort and enough space to travel long distances with your family members on board. If you think getting out of the third row would be difficult, it has an easy solution with one-touch access that allows the middle row to fold down.

Strong power capabilities: It comes with a six-cylinder and twenty-four valve dual continuous variable valve timing (CVVT). The driver is subsequently provided with an impressive 291 horsepower and 262 pounds per foot of torque.

Comparable fuel efficiency: The power mentioned above should put the Hyundai Palisade in the top ten midsize SUVs list. The average mileage is 21 mpg. Hence, it can survive long on a 19-gallon tank.

Safety options: The Hyundai palisade has ABS and daytime running lamps and the Rear Occupant Alert that ensures no one is left in the back seats. There are efficient airbags in the car's cabin also, those in the first row being the most effective. The Occupant Classification System delays deployment if the passenger in the first row is under a specific weight limit.

No optional engines available.

There are few chances of looking for a more powerful high-end limited trim engine as this car has one version of the engine available only.

Familiar controls from other vehicles: The installed controls are inspired by less expensive models.

Style not for everyone: Those driving SUVs for a while may find aerodynamic issues when it comes to acceleration.

Hyundai Palisade EXPERT REVIEWS

The Hyundai Palisade is reminiscent of a better equipped Santa Fe. It can compete with other rivals like the Ford Endeavour, Volvo XC90, and in some cases, the Audi Q7 too. With its front-wheel drive and 4WD variants, it can be a fantastic car for road trips or long journeys, mainly because it can be ridden smoothly on any surface, no matter how naturally inconvenient they are.

No amount of mud, sand, or snow can affect its average mileage of 21 mpg. And, for youngsters, it is perfectly suitable as it has the most incredible entertainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment set, wireless charging ports, etc. The car is 4980 mm in length, 1976 mm in width, and 1750mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2900 mm, making it a comfortable size for an SUV.

The road presence and the overall look are both sophisticated. Though lacking in design a bit as far as the controls are concerned, the car provides easy to comprehend driving behavior and offers a satisfying driving experience altogether. For luxury car owners, this model of Hyundai is the best catch available today.
