Lexus NX PRO’s & CON’s

  • Things We Like
  • Things we don’t like

The NX is the most radical-looking SUV in its segment; it's sharp, sleek, and grabs a tonne of eyeballs.

All the seats are nicely cushioned, wrapped in soft leather, and feel incredibly comfortable.

The cabin is well-appointed. It's the perfect blend of old craftsmanship and new-age technology. Plus, Lexus has been top-notch with the quality of materials used.

Amongst a few cars to offer a hybrid powertrain option in India.

The hybrid powertrain offers incredible refinement. Covering long distances in the NX is effortless.

It smooths out bumps on the road effortlessly and provides a comfortable ride.

Lexus automobiles have shown to be quite dependable throughout time.

Host of driver assistance features available.

The Lexus NX 350h has been priced very expensively. The top-end F Sport trim costs almost Rs 82.5 lakh on-road Delhi.

Not as athletic or fun to drive as rivals such as the BMW X3.

The Lexus Nx 350h has less boot space when compared to rivals.

Though road insulation is good, the NX's cabin could have been quieter. The cheaper Lexus ES sedan offers better cabin insulation.

After taking a step back and letting the rest of the luxury-subcompact SUV market mature over several years, the Lexus NX is re-entering the fray with its update. The 2022 model is entirely new and more streamlined than the previous generation. A super-comfortable, reliable, economical, and effortless cruiser lies beneath those aggressive and crisp body lines. On the inside, it's similarly done in a slick style. The cabin's material quality is exceptional, with soft-touch materials used everywhere. The seats are comfy and capacious. The Lexus NX is the segment's only car with a full petrol-electric hybrid drivetrain. Overall, the NX is not as sporty and dynamic as the Germans in its class, and the pricing is a little high, but its comfort and refinement will win you over.

The 2022 Lexus NX may appear aggressive and athletic on the outside, but it is sedate and comfy on the inside, making it a superb cruising vehicle. It is powered by a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that works with electric motors to produce a combined power output of 243 horsepower. Lexus has aced the hybrid game. The 350h exudes a tremendous sense of elegance, and the car's hallmark is the seeming maturity of the seamless hybrid system in action. The ride quality on the NX is also outstanding. Even if the road surface isn't the best, there's a sense of casual refinement. The handling is likewise excellent, and it will pique the interest of most drivers. However, don't expect the athleticism of, say, a BMW X3.
