Mahindra & Mahindra has planned various new products for the Indian market. The top official at Mahindra & Mahindra had said that “ the XUV300 will be the first SUV to undergo an electric makeover. Following the launch of the Mahindra eXUV300, the business will release a number of new vehicles, including EVs with fresh designs. The new Mahindra electric automobiles are said to be technologically advanced.”
While the XUV300 Electric's technical details are yet to be revealed, it will be based on the brand's new EV architecture, MESMA350 (Mahindra Electric Scalable Modular Architecture). The XUV300 Electric, as its name suggests, will most likely have a range of at least 350 kilometres on a single charge. It will also be able to charge quickly.
The XUV300 electric vehicle will be powered by Korean-developed batteries. Mahindra has earlier established a partnership with LG Chem of Korea to develop and procure battery cells for the Indian EV industry. LG Chem will also provide lithium-ion cells, which were previously imported from China, and Mahindra will shortly begin assembling the battery module in India to save money.

The electric XUV300 will be available with two battery packs: a 40KWh (300km range) and a 60KWh (600km range) (over 450Km range).In terms of its overall design, this automobile resembles its fuel counterpart the XUV300. However, with specifications like special LED headlights coupled with blue graphics, closed-grille on its front, larger infotainment with pop-out style, the XUV300 electric successfully differentiates itself. The expected launch date of Mahindra XUV 300 Electric is April 2022. Tentative price is estimated to be around Rs 15 lakh - Rs.18 lakh.The car is expected to have battery capacity of 30.2 kWh and Power output 127bhp.
The Mahindra XUV300 Electric will be the company's first long-range electric vehicle.
