Mercedes-Benz GLS EXPERT REVIEWS

The Mercedes-Benz GLS is a powerful car that makes its presence felt, offering many personalization options. It is the personification of luxury on wheels. The GLS is a premium vehicle, and it looks like one with its chrome-embellished body. It has chrome on the roof rails, shoulderline trim strips, side skirt, luggage compartment etc. It has leather-upholstered interiors available in five lovely shades.

While the car is powerful, it is also superbly refined. You can barely hear the engine turn, which is rare for a diesel vehicle, and the petrol engine is even quieter. While the GLS drives like a dream on the highways, manoeuvring this beast on city roads and in city traffic could be a bit of a problem. Apart from this small issue, the Mercedes GLS has many advantages over comparable cars in the same segment, like the Audi Q7 and the BMW X7. It is available in diesel and petrol variants, unlike its counterparts, and gives a good mileage of 12.7 kmpl. While both the other cars are big, the Mercedes GLS has the biggest boot space and fuel tank.

The Mercedes GLS also comes loaded with tons of other features. It has heated and ventilated massage seats, an integrated refrigerator, a touchscreen tablet for the rear seats and a 13-speaker 590-watt Burmester sound system. It also has a 2-way in-car communication system that offers voice amplification so that you can have a conversation across all seat rows without raising your voice. The Mercedes-Benz GLS also comes loaded with multiple safety features such as Multibeam LED, blindspot assist, active braking assist, attention assist and a parking assist with a 360-degree camera. It has all the other features you would expect from a car in this segment, such as ABS, power windows, airbags, etc.

To put it bluntly, the Mercedes-Benz GLS is the ideal car for those who have tons of extra money and want to let others know it too. This is a car that you cannot ignore and one that makes its presence felt. It is a good, sturdy vehicle, but it doesn’t offer anything extra compared to the other cars in this category unless you buy the Mercedes Maybach 600 4MATIC for the Maybach brand.
