Mercedes-Benz M-Class EXPERT REVIEWS

Many experts have driven the M-Class, and they have varied opinions. The car production was discontinued in 2014, and there might be good reasons for it. Experts have pointed out that it consumes too much fuel, and is almost like a fuel tanker disguised as a car. When commenting on the exterior, experts have opined that the silhouette is still fairly classic – the sharp C-pillar successfully offsets it. The M-Class during its time was one of those cars that had the spare wheel mounted on its backside, giving it a lot more street cred than its competitors.

The interior is top-notch. The buttons are simple to understand, and there is no need to consult the handbook to figure out what they do. Everything has a tactile feel, and the build quality is of the finest level. The driver's seat provides a commanding perspective, although the tailgate-mounted spare tyre restricts the rear vision, blocking all except the large vehicles from the rear-view mirror. The left-wing mirror is a plane mirror, reducing the view on the left. Nonetheless, it is still a costly model as compared to the other 5-seater cars.

The M-Class includes air-damped suspension, which allows the driver to adjust the way the car handles with a single button press. The steering is precise and direct but lacks a feel. This automobile has plenty of ground clearance; if you don't have enough, simply press a button on the centre console to raise the ride height for when the terrain becomes tough. The turbocharged V6 has a displacement of 2987cc and produces 234 horsepower and 535 Nm of torque. Even though it runs on common-rail technology, it sounds like a diesel on the outside. The brakes on the M-Class are more than capable. This 2187 kg automobile can be stopped at 41.9 m in 3.1 seconds when going at a speed of 80 kph, which is a world record. Overall, the car is a beast on the road and has mixed reviews from various experts.

Mercedes Benz M-Class has been discontinued, but other versions such as the G-Class and E-Class are available that have upgraded features. Mercedes Benz has some remarkable cars, and M-Class was one of them.
