Honda has launched a limited-production Apex Edition of its SUV, the Honda Elevate. It gets some cosmetic upgrades over the regular Elevate. Read ahead to find out what’s new on the Honda Elevate Apex Edition.
The Elevate Apex Edition gets a few styling updates on the exterior — piano black under spoilers, piano black rear lower garnish with chrome inserts, Apex Edition badges on the fenders as well as on the tailgate.
On the inside, the Elevate Apex Edition features a dual-tone ivory and black interior theme, leatherette door linings, leatherette-covered dashboard, seven options for ambient lighting, and Apex Edition-specific seat covers with cushions.
The Apex Edition features the same powertrain options as the regular Elevate. It gets a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that comes paired to either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT. This engine generates an output of 121PS and 145Nm of peak torque.
The Apex Edition demands a premium of Rs 15,000 over the regular Elevate variants. The entry variant offered in the Apex Edition is the VMT, which is priced at Rs 12.86 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The maxed-out VX CVT variant costs Rs 15.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Honda currently has three cars on sale in India — Amaze, City and Elevate. The Honda Amaze is due for a facelift, which will be launched in the upcoming months.
