Mahindra Thar ROXX

The Mahindra Thar ROXX was launched back in August 2024 at a starting price of Rs 12.99 lakh for the base petrol variant. While Mahindra had announced prices for the 4X2 variants of the ROXX, it was yet to do the same for the Thar ROXX 4X4 variants.

Mahindra Thar ROXX 4X4 price list

Mahindra Auto has revealed the Mahindra Thar ROXX 4X4 price list today, completing the price matrix of the new Mahindra Thar ROXX. The 4X4 variants start at Rs 18.79 lakh and go all the way up to Rs 22.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Refer to the table above for the complete price list.

4X4 vs 4X2 price difference

The gap between the 4X4 and 4X2 variants of the Thar ROXX lies between Rs 1.8 lakh to Rs 2 lakh. The MX5 diesel MT variants have a price difference of Rs 1.8 lakh among them while the AX5L diesel AT, AX7L diesel MT and AX7L diesel AT have a gap of Rs 2 lakh.

Mahindra Thar ROXX 4X4

The Thar ROXX only gets a 4X4 system with select trims of the 2.2-litre diesel engine. It is offered with both automatic as well as manual transmissions. The petrol variants of the Thar ROXX do not get a 4X4 system, unlike the 3-Door Thar.

Thar ROXX variants

The Thar ROXX or the Thar 5-Door is being offered in a total of 18 variant options. It comes in six broad trims — MX1, MX3, MX5, AX3L, AX5L and AX7L. MX1, MX3, MX5 and AX7L are offered in both diesel and petrol options, while the AX3L and AX5L are diesel-only variants. AWD is available only on MX5, AX5L and AX7L trims.
