According to media reports, a new Mahindra Scorpio N variant is set to launch soon in India. This upcoming top trim will pack in features never seen before on the Scorpio N, including the much-anticipated panoramic sunroof and advanced Level 2 ADAS. While these highlights are confirmed, a few more updates—though not officially reported—are also being speculated.
The Mahindra Scorpio N currently comes with a single-pane sunroof, offered from the Z6 variant onwards. However, the panoramic sunroof is reportedly set to debut with the new variant, which is expected to become the new top trim—positioned above the Z8 L.
The upcoming Mahindra Scorpio variant will also be equipped with Level 2 ADAS and AEB. The ADAS suite will include features like lane keep assist, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, high beam assist, and smart pilot assist.
Along with upcoming feature updates on the Scorpio N new variant, there are talks about a possible upgrade to a larger 10.1-inch infotainment screen, though nothing has been reported yet. At present, the outgoing Scorpio N comes with an 8-inch infotainment screen.
The upcoming Mahindra Scorpio N variant will be equipped with familiar engine options—a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 2.2-litre diesel. Both come paired with either a six-speed manual or a torque converter automatic transmission. It is also likely to be equipped with a 4WD setup.
The Mahindra Scorpio new variant is expected to launch during the festive season this year.
