Despite the introduction of Bharat NCAP, Global NCAP continues its assessments. In its latest round of tests, the 2025 Nissan Magnite facelift secured a 5-star rating for adult safety and 3-star rating for child safety, improving over its 2022 score of 4 stars (adult) and 2 stars (child).
The Magnite scored 32.31 out of 34 points in adult occupant safety tests. It offered good protection to the head, neck, knees, and driver’s chest in frontal impacts, while side impact tests showed good protection across all major body regions.
In child safety, the Magnite earned 33.64 out of 49 points. The 18-month-old dummy seat performed well in both frontal and side impact tests, while the 3-year-old dummy’s seat showed poor side impact protection and allowed head contact during frontal impact.
The 2025 Magnite comes equipped with six airbags, electronic stability control, seatbelt reminders, 3-point seatbelts and adjustable headrests for all passengers. These enhancements contribute significantly to its improved safety score.
Beyond safety, the Magnite offers a well-rounded feature list including LED lighting (headlights & tail lights), 16-inch alloy wheels, surround view camera, digital instrument cluster, and cruise control, adding to its value proposition in the compact SUV segment.
