Powertrain remains unchanged

The updated Kushaq will retain the current engine options: a 1.0-litre turbo petrol (115 PS, 178 Nm) with 6MT or 6AT and 1.5-litre turbo petrol (150 PS, 250 Nm) with 7-speed DCT. No mechanical changes are expected.

Positioning vs Skoda Kylaq

With the introduction of the smaller Skoda Kylaq, the Kushaq now requires stronger differentiation. The facelift aims to re-establish its appeal and value in Skoda's SUV lineup to justify its positioning above the Kylaq.

Expected launch timeline

Skoda is likely to launch the facelifted Kushaq during the festive season of 2025. Having launched in 2021, the SUV is due for a mid-cycle refresh to remain competitive in the compact SUV market.
