The 2025 Tata Altroz facelift gets its first major visual overhaul since its launch in 2020. It now features a redesigned front grille, sleeker headlights, and a connected LED lightbar at the rear. The side profile is enhanced by new aero-style alloy wheels and modern flush door handles.
The updated Altroz is expected to come with several new features inside the cabin, including a larger touchscreen infotainment system, a 360-degree camera setup, and ventilated front seats.
Tata will continue offering the same engine options as the current model. This includes a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine (with 5-speed manual or 6-speed DCT), a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol with a manual gearbox, a CNG variant, and a 1.5-litre diesel with a manual transmission.
The facelifted Tata Altroz is set to launch in India on May 22, 2025. The price is expected to start above ₹7 lakh (ex-showroom), slightly higher than the current version. It will continue to compete with other premium hatchbacks like the Hyundai i20 and Maruti Baleno.
Tata Motors has released an official teaser video showcasing several exterior highlights of the updated Altroz. The video gives a sneak peek into the car’s refreshed front and rear designs, confirming many of the anticipated styling changes.
