The 2025 Volkswagen Taigun facelift has been spotted testing for the first time, following the Skoda Kushaq facelift sightings. The spy shots reveal updates to the SUV’s front and rear profiles under heavy camouflage.
The facelift is likely to feature new LED headlights, an updated grille, a connecting LED strip, redesigned alloy wheels, updated LED tail lights, and reprofiled bumpers, while maintaining the same body structure without major sheet metal changes.
The updated Taigun may add soft-touch dashboard materials, Level-2 ADAS, and a surround-view camera to stay competitive. A panoramic sunroof is not expected to be introduced with this update.
The facelift is expected to continue with the 1.0-litre (115PS, 178Nm) and 1.5-litre (150PS, 250Nm) turbo-petrol engines. Transmission options remain the same: 6-speed manual or torque converter for the 1.0L and 7-speed DCT for the 1.5L variant.
Volkswagen India is expected to launch the Taigun facelift around the festive season of 2025, following the Kushaq facelift launch. The update will likely bring minor price revisions across variants.
