Toyota has globally unveiled the sixth generation of the Rav4 SUV, which is quite popular in some countries, though it never made its way to the Indian market.
The new generation of the SUV will exclusively be offered with hybrid powertrains in certain countries like the UK. Other markets will also get the option of petrol variants. The Rav4 will be available in both FWD and AWD configurations.
The updated Rav4 takes some design inspiration from the new Toyota Camry, featuring C-shaped headlights, and a hammer-like front end. It gets polygonal tail lamps and muscular panels.
The boxy approach is also carried to the cabin with a multi-layered dashboard. Key Toyota Rav4 features include a digital driver’s display, a large touchscreen infotainment system, JBL sound system, four-wheel drive system, and more.
There’s also a GR-Sport version that has been unveiled, which gets 20-inch lightweight wheels, GR badges throughout, sports seats, a tuned suspension setup, and more.
