Maruti Suzuki India Limited sold a total of 17,60,765 cars and SUVs in the financial year 2024-25, across models and fuel types, as per data released by Auto Punditz.
Of this total sales figure, 11,48,363 units were petrol vehicles, 5,91,730 units were CNG vehicles, and the remaining 20,672 were hybrids.
With over one-third of its total sales coming from CNG vehicles, MSIL grabbed 70.6% of the CNG passenger vehicle market in FY2025.

The carmaker sold 16,636 units of the Grand Vitara hybrid, and 4,036 units of the Invicto hybrid, both of which are sourced from Toyota.
Maruti Suzuki will soon step into the EV market with its first electric car, the e Vitara, which should be launched here in the next few months.
