Though unlikely to be here before 2026, the next generation of the Toyota Fortuner SUV is also being mulled to get a hybrid powertrain option. Details about the same are scarce at the moment.
Mahindra has said that it is ready to launch a hybrid SUV if it sees enough demand for the same. It is unclear at the moment as to what model will the hybrid powertrain make its way.
