Tesla plans to strengthen its presence in North India with two upcoming dealerships—one in Delhi and another in Gurgaon, Haryana—marking its third outlet in the country.
According to reports, Tesla has leased a 33,000 sq ft space in Orchid Business Park on Sohna Road, Gurgaon. The dealership will follow a sales, service, and spares (3S) model and will have 51 dedicated parking spaces. The monthly rent is estimated at Rs 40 lakh.
Before Gurgaon, Tesla will open its Delhi dealership on August 11, 2025, located at Worldmark Aerocity, near Indira Gandhi International Airport, a premium spot with high footfall suitable for a luxury brand.
The Tesla Model Y will debut in India with Standard RWD (500 km WLTP) and Long Range RWD (622 km WLTP) variants. The Long Range version is slightly quicker, achieving 0–100 km/h in 5.6 seconds.
While Tesla hasn’t revealed full details of its Supercharger network, the Model Y supports 250 kW charging, delivering 267 km range in 15 minutes. The first Superchargers will be installed in Mumbai, with future expansion expected.
